December and year-end statistics shows the Naples market is still hot and looks like it will remain solid in 2016. Here are a few of the numbers that represent the growing building industry in Southwest Florida.
*The number of sales closed in December, 2015 (993 closed sales) was the 2nd highest on record for the month.
*The average price of closed sales during December, 2015 increased 5% over December of 2014.
*Closings in 2015 increased in all price categories with the exception of properties priced below $250,000, driven by a shrinking supply rather than a lack of demand.
*The median price in 2015 was up 14.2%. The median price for homes over $2 Million increased 5.4% to $3,093,012.
*There were 481 sales in 2015 of homes priced above $2 Million, a 10% increase from 2014.
